Lower income earners receive tax cuts

From 1 July the Goverment has introduced tax cuts for those earning less than $80,000.

The tax cut will see an estimated $300 a year put back into employees pockets.  No individuals will pay more tax then last year.

The tax free threshold will more then double, going from $6000 to $18,200.

These measures are part of the Governments carbon tax compensation package.
